Here's me at the Bruce Peninsula. A long weekend of hiking through Ontario's rocky escarpment and poking around sleepy harbour towns does wonders for reviving the soul. Must be all that wind blowing air through the head, sweeping the brain cells clean, dusting the senses.

It does make for a cruel fractured present reality though. A long weekend is only just long enough a stretch of time to tantalize the senses. It makes the mouth water, but does not quench the thirst. It's painful that, after all that rugged boney beauty of singing blue waters and frothing white waves that I have to spend the rest of the week emotionally chained to my desk at work . . . IN doors. It hurts. *Sigh*
... Not that there aren't more adventures to be had. I just have to make it around a few more bends of time. I'm keeping next year open, a juicy meaty slice of it anyways. Anyone up for an adventure? A couple weeks, a few months? Location to be determined jointly. My preference = some place on planet earth that my feet haven't happened across as of yet. Let me know if there are any takers. I'm up for almost anything, middle of the wilderness or densely populated chaos ... or something in between.

I'll go on an adventure with you! Next year, I'll be making money and will be able to afford a fun trip.
