Greetings you blizzard folkies and also you who have managed to avoid the stormy weather. Today I could've sworn I was in Iowa, except that we've got trees here. The wind sure was a blowin'. Tens of thousands in Toronto have no power and the police have even closed the Gardiner Expressway (aka: super busy highway)because of falling ice from the CN Tower. I don't know about you, but if a penny can kill you falling from the top of the world's tallest building, I'm pretty sure baseballs of ice could do much worse. This is the first time my memory believes that has ever happened, so yeah, such is the excitement of the broadcasters in this area. Here I am, just in case you forgot what I looked like. This is me in pre-job getting mode. Yes, it's true; As it turns out, my Dordt degree really does work. I'll be doing graphic design for a nutrition company that supplies healthy things to health food stores. I'm not sure how I feel about actually getting a job, since I've had very few jobs that I've ever liked. And I still don't know about graphic design for work. . . . Stay tuned . . . tuned until sometime after March 26th, which is when I start. Yup, I've got 3 weeks of freedom yet, so if any of you want to road-trip-it out to Ontario, now is the time. . . .
I'm cold beyond coldness. Time to migrate to warmer parts of the house, OUT of the basement being a good first step. Good night all.
